WHO WE ARE

For over 21 years, Champions of Caring Connections has been a heartbeat of support within the greater Compton community, turning compassion into action. From providing a soft landing for families and children without shelter to offering a guiding hand to low-income households, single adults, and unaccompanied youth (TAYs), we are dedicated to ensuring no neighbor has to walk their path alone. We don’t just bridge the gap—we build a foundation of hope, dignity, and lasting stability for every individual we serve.

MISSION

Champions of Caring Connections serves as a powerful advocate for those experiencing homelessness, providing the essential survival services and unwavering support necessary to transform lives and restore hope within our community.

VISION

By bridging the gap between struggle and stability, we empower our community members to reclaim their lives through direct access to the life-sustaining resources they deserve.

CCC GOALS

• To ensure compliance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act
• Enhance Food Security at 8 distribution sites per month
• Collaborate with other partners to fill gaps to leverage resources

PROGRAMS

• Enhanced Case management – Person-centered based on comprehensive support of individual needs.
• McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Advocacy for non-housed students – Clients are informed of their rights.
• 9 food distribution sites weekly.
• Food Pantry – The on-site pantry provides access to food Monday through Thursday.
• Referrals and resources – Clients are connected to services through a collaborative service delivery approach.
